// Vincent Wong Mission Statement
Computer Engineer turned Economics Major and Digital Arts minor after realizing that I could never sit behind a computer screen and design circuits and program 12 hours a day. My passion and love is cars, and my life revolves around the automotive world. I am a car fanatic and still can remember the first day I fell in love in 1988, when I saw the Ferrari Testarossa for my first time driving down Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
AddictedtoMods.com describes my personality. I purchase modifications for future car projects before I even have the car. I plan months in advance, and sometimes change my mind last minute and start the project all over again. I am currently building 7 cars at the same time. It’s amazing to have 7 rides and still not have a daily driver.
I rarely do the actual physical work of modifying cars. I relate my activities to that of a movie director who sees the final outcome of the film in his mind, and needs his team to carry his vision and his dream to reality. I can never own a car that is stock or unmodified. I believe that every car that comes off the lot is an unfinished art piece, a blank canvas waiting to be molded and sculpted. I feel that cars are just another art form “ARTNMOTION”, and that by putting your own spin to your vehicle, you can create your own individual creation.
ARTNMOTION just not just refer to the actual exterior of the vehicle. Cars are very complex, and ever mechanical part of the car can also be classified as art. The way the suspension handles, the compression and rebound of the car’s shocks, the beauty of the polished intercooler piping and how it directs compressed air through the turbo into the intake manifold, the defying sound of air as it forms backpressure through the exhaust system, how fast the piston on the brake calipers clamp to the rotor to stop the car, and the way the leather, suede, plastic and the stitching flow through the interior give cars multi dimensions of artistic influence.
