My First European Project Car circa 2000
We get so caught up in the present that sometimes we forget the past and where we have come from. I was browsing through my computer today and I found some pictures of the first European car I ever built. The year was 2000 and the car was a 2001 Audi S4. Seeing the pictures reminded me of all the trials and tribulations I went through modifying a car that was lacking aftermarket support at the time. I was the first person to put a Rieger RS4 Bumper on my car and can remember all the hate messages on the forums telling me I was stupid/crazy for taking off the beautiful stock S4 bumper. A few years later and almost every Audi B5 had a Rieger front bumper on it. Audi’s interior design was already way ahead of the times. Back then the two tone factory suede interior option was only $500 extra.
